Japan

Japan’s national team is one of the leading teams in the world in this age category. The team won the 9th Asian Youth Girls Championship held in China in 2012 and bracing themselves for much competition at this World Championship. The key players of Japan’s U18 Girls’ team for 2015 are from the country’s top high-school teams.

Saegusa, Daichi

Daichi Saegusa made his debut as head coach of Japan’s Youth Girls’ national team in 2014 taking the team to a gold medal win at the 10th Asian Girls’ U17 Volleyball Championship that year in Thailand. His motto is to play each match steadily and develop the team step by step.
