Team profile

The 2015 U.S. Girls' Youth National Team will try to return to the medal stand after winning the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Girls' Under 18 World Championship silver medal. The medal was the first-ever age group medal for the United States at any level for either men and women.
In the new age group cycle, Team USA won the silver at the 2014 NORCECA Women's Under 18 Continental Championship. Entering the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Girls' Under 18 World Championship, the U.S. only has two of its 20 preliminary roster players who competed in the NORCECA event in 2014 - Kathryn Plummer and Hailey Harward.
