‘The entire game was back and forward’ – Turkish coach

 

Callao, Peru, August 13, 2015 – Turkey was the last team to qualify to the quarterfinals at the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship.

Selmin Karahan, captain of Turkey: This match was very important for us .We played with all of our hearts. Belgium was a huge team, we knew how important this match was, we are happy with the results. We know that we have an important match against Poland, we will prepare for that game.

Fien Callens , coach of Belgium: They were more aggressive and brave than us in serve and block and that was the key of the game. They were more powerful and aggressive at the most important moments.

Bedesten Mehmet: The entire game was back and forward, this match was very interesting. Tomorrow we have an important game against Poland and my team will give it all, we want a good position in the championship.

Charlotte Copin, captain of Belgium: Turkey was aggressive in the attack and we made many mistakes. I think today they were better than us. We will prepare better for the next match.
