'We lost a game that we thought already won’- Poland captain

 

Callao, Peru, August 15, 2015 – Serbia overcomes Poland 3-2 and tomorrow will play against Germany for the fifth place of the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship.

Katarina Lazovic, captain of Serbia: Poland is a strong team and they wanted to win the game. Our team was not focused and we made a lot of mistakes. We need to improve our attitude and concentration for the next game.

Natalia Murek, captain of Poland: At start of the game everything worked, but we relied too much on the score and they began to play better and rallied. We lost a game that we thought already won. J

ovo Cakovic, coach of Serbia: It was a really difficult match for us, the score was really tight, Poland today was stronger and they had a good attitude. Our plan for today did not work .We need to improve and fix our mistakes if we want to win tomorrow.

Pec Andrzej, coach of Poland: It was a very tight game; my team gave everything that we could. Serbia is a very strong team and when they awoke in their game we could not counter them.
