‘A team needs to be tactically disciplined’ – Tomas Fernandez

 

Callao, Peru, August 11, 2015 .Brazil defeated Cuba in straight sets. The Brazilian finished the round-robin phase with a 2-2 win-loss record and Cuba could not won any game yet.
Amanda Sehn, captain of Brasil: We are happy with the game that we played, this time we showed a better level . Now we have in mind the match against USA.
Diaris Perez, captain of Cuba: We were very nervous today on the field, that hurted us. My tem is missing some key players and we can all feel it. Playing Brazil is a learning experience and helps us improve our game.
Luizomar de Moura, coach of Brazil: The most important thing of this match is that we got a victory after our two defeats. We controlled the mistakes that we made during the championship and that’s important because my team recovered their stability.
Tomas Fernandez, coach of Cuba: A team needs to be tactically disciplined. For this match we developed a strategy that my girls could not pull through. We worked very hard to make the best performance in this World Championship but it just was not possible because our team is not complete.
