To beat Japan attack isn´t enough - Brazil Coach

 

Celebration of Brazil against Japan

Callao, Peru, Callao, Peru, August 8, 2015 - Brazil endured pressure from local fans to celebrate his first win in the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship.

Amanda Rodrigues, captain of Brazil: The score was 3-0 ,but the game was very complicated because of the pressure of Japan and the local fans. We are happy to win in our first game.

Manami Mandai, captain of Japan: We always play with the conviction to win, but we were not consistent enough and that condemned the last two sets, but we will keep working to achieve our goals. I hope to meet with Brazil in the next steps of the tournament .

Luizomar de Moura, coach of Brazil: Playing against Japan is a great learning experience for us, because attacking is not enough if you want to win a match, you need to defend too .We need to improve for the following game because this Championship has very strong teams.

Daichi, Segusa, coach of Japan: We wanted win because in previous competitions Brazil had beaten us, playing against them is always a great experience. We have two more games in the preliminary round and we still looking for victories, we want to meet Brazil in a next round.
