´Today was the beginning of a new challenge’ – Japan Coach

 

Callao, Peru, August 14, 2015 – Japan defeated Egypt 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-14) in the round to define positions between 17-20 of the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship at Miguel Grau.

Manami Mandai , captain of Japan: Today we had a good match, but there were moments that we couldn’t concentrate very well. So we will talk later, to improve all the things that we have been able to do today.

Nada Meawad, captain of Egypt :Today our service and reception didn’t work and that made that we don't build our game. Face off against Japan is very complicated and certainly this match will help us to improve our game in the following matches.

Daichi Saegusa, coach of Japan : The match of today was the beginning of a new challenge, since we don't have the opportunity to go to the final. We have two more matches to get to the ninth place which is our new goal.

Mohamed Abdeen, coach of Egypt: Japan is a strong team; they are better positioned than us in the world ranking. It was a complicated match, our game tactics did not work today.
