Callao, Peru, August 16, 2015 –Korea obtained the thirteenth place of the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship.
Minji Ko, captain of Korea: This time we wanted to win with a convincing score, because we were not satisfied with our performance in the previous game. Our team are pleased to have won but not happy because our goal in this competition was different.
Nada Meawad, captain of Egypt: Korea played very well, showing their speed and powerful in attacks. However, we are pleased by our performance during the entire tournament.
Dongyeol Kim, coach of Korea: In the first game we played against Egypt we were complicated because we feel confident, but this time had the winning attitude from the beginning and we won 3-0, we are very happy for this victory.
Mohamed Abdeen, coach of Egypt: It was a complicated game because it's the first time we played in the morning. However we are pleased with the performance and results obtained by the team in this World Championship.
