Callao, Peru, August 16, 2015 – Brazil closed their participation in the tournament with a triumph over Belgium.

Amanda Rodriguez, captain of Brazil: The team was more consistent in the today’s match than in entire the tournament where the nerves made us make many mistakes, that took us to difficult positions during the competition.

harlotte Coppin, captain of Belgium: We are pleased with our performance in the competition; we feel that we have done big steps to play at high level. It is clear that sometimes we make mistakes, but we feel that all this is part of the growth of the team.

Luizomar de Moura, coach of Brazil: It’s important for the players to finish the tournament with a triumph; finally the team found the right balance. It was a complicated tournament with high level contenders in the preliminary round but we’ve learned a lot and now we have to train this team for the next tournaments.

Fien Callens, coach of Belgium: It’s very complicated to play against Brazil, they have a powerful attack but apart from the result of today, we are very happy, not only because of the position that we have obtained, it’s because the team is growing too, and that for us is more important.
