‘We have to turn the page’ – Luizomar de Moura


Callao, Peru, August 13, 2015 – USA advanced to the quarterfinals at the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship after beating Brazil by 3-1.

Kathryn Plummer, captain of USA: Brazil is a very tough team, but we had the ability to take the game forward. We have new games where we need to give our best to be come out victorious.

Amanda Rodrigues, captain of Brazil: Is very difficult to speak now. I only can congrats to USA´s team for their victory, I wish them the best in the next match of this championship.

James Stone, coach of USA : Playing against Brazil always is complicated and today was not the exception. We are happy to have achieved victory and now we have to work thinking in to the following matches.

Luizomar de Moura, coach of Brazil: Today we did not have a good precision in block and reception, but it is a past history and we have to turn the page. We have 3 more games, and in each one , we will search the possibility of climbing positions.
